How to Register Application

Online Application System Usage Guide

Click the MyPage button at the top of this page and proceed as follows to register.
*From My Page, you can confirm the details of your application, pay the application fee, print out the Examination Admission Ticket and other necessary documents, and confirm whether you have passed or failed the exam.
*Please note that the display language will be English only when you access from this page.

Before Application - ①  Check and prepare the necessary environment for online application

In order to register your application through the online application system, you will need to prepare the following in advance.

1. Setting up Japanese for your computer

Please install Japanese katakana input software in the terminal to be used. You will be required to input Japanese katakana when registering your name.

2. Prepare your email address

Please prepare your e-mail address. The e-mail address will be used as a login ID for My Page, and will also be used to send notification e-mails regarding the online application and other communications from the university.
* Please prepare an e-mail address that is not likely to be changed or deleted and that you can check on a daily basis.
If your email is set up to receive messages only from specified domains, please adjust the setting so that you can receive from [@52school.com] and [@rikkyo.ac.jp].

  • Using a free e-mail address is at your own risk.
  • Please note that each notification e-mail from our online application system may be sorted into your junk e-mail folder. In addition, due to the anti-spam measures of the company that operates the e-mail service, the e-mail itself may be deemed to be a virus or junk mail and may not be delivered. Please note that in such cases, the university will not be able to recognize that the e-mail could not be delivered.
3. Prepare an image file of your face photo.
  • You will need to prepare an image file of your face photo and upload it in JPG, PNG, or GIF format through the online application system.
  • The photo will be used to verify your identity on the day of the exam and to match your photo with the photo on the submitted certification documents. Please note that a photo for the student ID card after enrollment must be submitted separately at the time of enrollment procedures.

  • *Face photo data with a maximum size of 5MB can be uploaded.
  • *There are no specifications regarding the aspect ratio for the face photo data. It can be adjusted on the registration screen of the online application system.

  • *Images that are blurry or have anything other than a plain background will not be accepted.
  • *Images where the face cannot be easily recognized, due to having hair over the eyes, etc., will not be accepted.
  • *Images that are processed or touched up extremely will not be accepted.
  • *Do not use photos that have been reversed from left to right, such as those taken with a Camera phone.

* If there is a problem with your face photo, an inquiry will be made from the Application Reception Center.

4. Prepare computer settings, etc.

The following operating environment is recommended.

*The software can also be used on mobile devices (Android 10.X.X or later: Android Chrome, iOS 14.X.X or later: Safari). However, it is recommended to use a computer since some functions may not work depending on the user’s environment.

5. Prepare printer

When applying, you will need to print out the application form, Examination Admission Ticket, etc. If you do not have a printer at home, please print them out at your high school, convenience stores, or using other services.

Before Application - ②  Check the necessary information for application

Before registering your application information, be sure to check each Entrance Exam Guideline for details.
Please complete the application procedures well in advance to meet the deadlines.

It may take some time to issue application documents such as certificates of English proficiency tests. Please start preparing well in advance so that you will have the documents in hand prior to the application.

Before Application - ③  Create My Page (Available from Monday, September 1, 10:00 a.m.)

Check the instructions below and start the application procedures from the MyPage button.

1. Register your e-mail address and set a password

〇If you are creating My Page for the first time for the 2026 Undergraduate Entrance Exam conducted by Rikkyo University
 Click on the "Create My Page from here" link and follow the instructions to create My Page.
 *If you have already created My Page, enter your My Page address and password,
  and click the "Login" button.

1.Please read the "Privacy Policy" and "Terms and Conditions" carefully before clicking
 the "I Agree" button.

2.Enter the e-mail address you wish to use. (This e-mail address is required to log in to My Page.)
 After clicking the "Register" button, a confirmation e-mail will be sent to the e-mail address you entered.

 If the email address you entered is incorrect, you will not receive the confirmation email.
 If you do not find it in your inbox, please check your spam folder.
 Also, if you do not receive a confirmation e-mail after 5 minutes or more,
 please create My Page using a different e-mail address.

3.Click on the URL in the confirmation email you received.
 *Please note that the URL will become invalid in 24 hours.

4.After registering a password on the Set Password screen, you will be redirected to the My Page top page.

 The following functions are available on My Page.

  -Registration and confirmation of photos
  -Registration of personal information
  -Registration of Application Information
  -Confirmation of Application Status / Payment of Application Fee / Application Form /
   Examination Admission Ticket
  -Inquiry of Acceptance/Rejection
  -Enrollment Procedures
  -Score Disclosure (General Entrance Exam only)
  -Change Email Address
  -Change Password

<Notes>
* Please do not forget your login e-mail address and password, as you will be using My Page after applying (e.g., to obtain Examination Admission Ticket, to inquire whether you have passed or failed the exam, to complete the enrollment procedures, etc.).
* Please note that if you fail to log in to My Page a certain number of times in a row, your account will be temporarily locked.

2. Register your photo

Then, register the photo data in "STEP1”.

  1. Click on the "Select photo" button and select the photo you have prepared.
    Please note that the photo cannot be changed after registration.

  2. After selecting a file, adjust the photo size as necessary and click the "Crop Photo" button to create the data for uploading.

  3. A confirmation screen will appear.
    Compare the cropped photo with the example of acceptable photo and click the "Back" button if any adjustments are necessary.
    If there are no problems, click the "Register" button.

    After completing the photo upload, return to "My Page" and proceed to "STEP2”.

3. Registration of personal information

Next, you will complete "STEP2". The Evaluation Regarding Self-Direction, etc. should be also entered here (200-500 characters in Japanese or 100-250 words in English).

Confirm the information you have entered on the next screen.
When you are satisfied that there are no errors, please complete the registration.

The information you entered here will be printed on the "Application Form" you submit to the university when you apply for admission. The Evaluation Regarding Self-Direction, etc. will not be printed on the application form.

<Notes>
Please note that you cannot change the information after it has been registered.

Application - ① Register application information

You can register your application information for each entrance exam from 10:00 a.m. on the first day of the online application period to 11:00 p.m. on the last day of the online application period.

<Notes>
Do not use the "Back" and "Next" buttons on your browser. You may have to start the application from the beginning.

1. Select the entrance exam type (STEP3)

Open the "Select Entrance Exam Type" screen of the online application from "STEP3" on My Page.
Confirm that you have selected the correct entrance exam type, and click the "Next" button.
Please note that once the application fee has been paid, you will not be able to modify your registration information.

2. Select the program you wish to study (STEP3)

Please select the program you are interested in for the entrance exam type you are applying for.
Please make sure that you have selected the correct program, and then click "Next" button.
Please note that once the application fee has been paid, you will not be able to modify your registration information.

3. Select and enter information on English proficiency test, etc. (STEP3)

Please enter the information required for the entrance exam type and program you are applying for, including information on English proficiency tests. (You may enter information for multiple English proficiency tests of different types.)

The items displayed will differ depending on the entrance exam type and program to which you are applying.

* In the English proficiency test section that you submit, please select “Use for application” and enter the information for the relevant English proficiency test.
Note that you should not select “Use for application (For additional applications only).”

4. Confirmation of entry information

Please confirm that the information you entered in “STEP3” is correct, including the entrance exam type, the program, and English proficiency tests.

If you want to correct the information, click the "Back" button.
If you are sure that all the information is correct, click the "Next" button.

Notes

  • Once the application fee has been paid, you will not be able to modify your registration information.

Application - ② Pay application fee

Please pay the application fee in accordance with the My Page “STEP 4” screen.

The application fee must be paid by the due date by credit card, convenience store, bank ATM (Pay-easy payment), or online banking. In addition to the application fee, a service fee (1,100 yen) is required for each application registration.

Please note that the registered application information will become invalid if the payment is overdue.

Once the application fee has been paid, no changes can be made to the registered information. Please click the "Register" button after thoroughly checking the information.

For each entrance exam, the application fee can be paid from 10:00 a.m. on the first day of the online application period to 11:00 p.m. on the last day of the online application period.

<Notes>
Online Application System introduces 3D Secure (a personal authentication service) to detect and prevent unauthorized use of credit card transactions. If the card issuer determines that identity authentication is necessary, additional authentication will be performed using password authentication, one-time password authentication, and device authentication. As additional authentication procedures may require extra time for credit card payments, please make your payment well in advance when paying the application fee.
The 3D Secure authentication and input screen may vary depending on the card issuer you have contracted with; please contact your card issuer for details on 3D Secure compatibility, settings, and authentication methods.

Application - ③ Print and post the application documents

After payment of the application fee is completed, you will be able to print out the application form and the envelope cover for application.Please note that the application form and the envelope cover will be output in Japanese.
If there are any errors on the printed application form regarding the basic information, address, contact information, high school attended, etc. registered in "STEP2," please write the correct information with a red ballpoint pen (erasable ones are not acceptable). However, please do not change the "入試種別 (Entrance Exam Type)”, "志望学部 学科・専修(Program you are applying to)" that you have registered.
Please prepare other necessary documents for application and mail them to the Application Reception Center.
Please send the application documents by the deadline.
For details on the application period, application documents, and mailing method, please refer to each Entrance Exam Guideline.

*The Application Form can be printed out from "STEP4" on My Page after payment of the application fee.
*Please check the handling hours of post offices, etc. and complete the application procedures well in advance.

After Application  Obtain an Examination Admission Ticket

From My Page "STEP4", you can confirm the registration details of your application information, reprint your application form, and obtain your Examination Admission Ticket.

  • After payment of the application fee, you can download the application form and the envelope cover.
    *For some entrance exam types, the envelope cover is not available for download.


  • After your application is received, you will be able to print out your examination voucher on the date stated in each Entrance Exam Guideline.Be sure to print out the Examination Admission Ticket on plain A4 size paper and bring it with you on the day of the exam. Please note that the Examination Admission Ticket will not be sent by post.


  • You can resend the application confirmation e-mail to yourself.


  • This link directs you to the University' s website, where you can download application documents (prescribed forms).

Privacy Policy - Handling of personal information related to entrance exams

To start the application, you must agree to the Privacy Policy for Rikkyo University.
Select "Agree to the handling of personal information" and proceed with the application process from MyPage button.

Privacy Policy - Handling of personal information related to entrance exams

Your name, address, and any other personal information that you provide in the application and enrollment procedures will be used only for 1) conducting entrance exams (processing applications and conducting exams), 2) making the announcement of results, 3) undertaking enrollment procedures, 4) Language A (English) class placement, and any other matters that are incidental to those operations. All necessary and appropriate controls will be implemented to ensure that there is no divulging, leaking, or unauthorized use of such personal information. All or some of the above operations may be performed by an entity that has been contracted by Rikkyo University to do so ("Contracted Entity"). In such cases, all or some of the personal information you have provided may be provided to the Contracted Entity. In the outsourcing of these operations, an agreement that includes confidentiality provisions will be concluded and the entity contracted to perform the operations will be obligated to put rigorous controls in place regarding the information and not to use the information for any purpose other than the contracted operations.
Personal information will be statistically processed to make individuals unidentified and be used for data in a study and research for the selection of enrolling students at Rikkyo University.
Please note that some of the personal information and the results of the entrance exams of enrolled students will be registered in the University’s student information database and used for student consultation and guidance after enrollment.

<Handling of Personal Information Related to User Registration for Inbound Medical Assistance Service>

ONLY for the students enrolled in each program who meet the following descriptions:

  • Global Program of the Department of International Business and Law (only students admitted through the Entrance Exam for International Students)
  • Department of Intercultural Communication (only students admitted through the Admission by Recommendation by Designated School (outside Japan))
  • Global Liberal Arts Program (only students who will take the Japanese language as "Language B (mandatory courses)")

The above-mentioned students will be registered as users of the Inbound Medical Assistance Service (hereinafter referred to as the "Service") provided by Japan Emergency Assistance Corporation (hereinafter referred to as the "Service Company"). This service entitles you while living in Japan to the assistance of referral for medical institutions, or interpretation via telephone when you take a taxi or you are examined at a hospital. Please note, however, that this service is not a medical insurance and you will have to bear the cost of phone bill, taxi fare, doctor’s fee, or medical examination fee. Also, Rikkyo University is required to be enrolled in the insurance designated by the service company. Please note that this is the insurance, in which Rikkyo University has to be enrolled and is not the medical insurance, in which the students have to be enrolled, so that you may be able to benefit from the service. Therefore, there may be occasions where Rikkyo University has to provide the service company and insurance company the students’ personal information including name, student ID number, address (city), gender, date of birth, nationality, country of origin. Please understand that the students who applied to the Global Program of the Department of International Business and Law, the Department of Intercultural Communication, and the Global Liberal Arts Program (only students who fall under the above descriptions), and who have completed to enrollment procedures after being admitted are automatically regarded to have agreed with the provision of personal information.
